After many setbacks and injuries, Loic Bruni finally clinched his first Downhill World Cup victory in Mont Sainte Anne in the penultimate race of the season – and he did it using MT7 brake levers specially designed for him by MAGURA!
MAGURA’s cooperation with Loic began in November 2017. We first carried out tests to determine possible lever shapes for him – and the “Loic-O-Mat” was born! A modular system, it includes an aluminium carrier lever on to which various 3D-printed lever templates can be mounted. After a few more tests, the optimum lever was found – and MAGURA produced it for Loic using a titanium printing process.
Loic has been using the MT7 levers in the Downhill World Cup since April – and now he has notched up his first victory with them! We are proud to support the world champion with our know-how and to provide him with the best possible equipment. His success also confirms the quality of our current product developments – such as the #customizeyourbrake program.
