MAGURA has taken over fully the company Rond Products in the Netherlands. This takeover brings along some important quality improvements. Therefore MAGURA recalls all 2-stroke and 024U suspension forks with a GLUED crown built until september 2001. These crowns are supposed to be exchanged for a BOLTED crown (c.f. picture here on the right).This exchange is COMPULSORY for all concerned users, and MAGURA begs them to follow this advice as only this will guarantuee the long term safety and quality MAGURA products are famous for.

MAGURA undergoes in these days the certification of German VDA (Federation of German car and automotive manufacturers) which demands the highest quality standards of German industry.

The MAGURA forks from model year 2003 onwards are manufactured in conformity with this new standard.

Owners of a Rond-MAGURA 2-stroke or 024U fork with a glued crown are kindly requested to send back their fork via their retailer or directly to the SERVICE CENTER of the respective country.

MAGURA ensures a quick handling of this recall, which means that incoming forks will be serviced and sent back within three working days.
