Already in november 2009 the Central Ghost Pro Team had pushed the start button for the season 2010. A team meeting in the Black Forest was a first come together to tackle the new year's season. Since then all ladies are have been working to bring their engines to working temperature, which isn't that obvious, considering the arctic temperatures freezing Germany for weeks now...

Mission: Confirming the 2009 title to be the best UCI women team. The whole event took place in the  Bike Park Bad Wildbad <-click, in the Black Forest, about 90km away from the Magura factory.

What's new then for 2009?

MAGURA "Thor", a versatile All Mountain fork with adjustable travel from 140 to 100mm, and  Albert Select platform damping technology. Available with the comfy Maxle 360 q/r axle.

The Durin family gets bigger with the brand new MAGURA "Durin SL" and the "Durin Marathon" .

The SL features a record weight of just 1350g for the 80mm version, a fix compression damping (Albert SL) and all the features that made the Durin the top notch choice during the this year's racing season.

The Marathon comes with adjustable travel (120 to 80mm) and the Albert Select platform damping technology.

All journalists could also testride the revolutionary  MAGURA "MX" rearshock that works just with air making this masterpiece litterally maintenance free! The MX will only be available for bike manufacturers, however.

What about brakes??

Well, after 6 years good ol' Marta is replaced by a new generation of...Marta, of course! New flagship is the Marta SL Magnesium with a record weight of 295g which could only be realized with the state-of-art material magnesium. Below the Marta SL and the Marta complete the new Marta family that is right from the start more versatile than ever and features and available with rotors of 160, 180 or 203mm diameter!

Not to forget: Julie, our budget brake, is replaced by the new Julie HP. HP stands for high pressure. For the first time at all Julie comes with the same hoses like its more powerful and more expensive sister models. This results in the nastiest Julie we ever had!!

All 2009 brakes come as usual with the 5-year leakproof warranty.

All  new products will be available by end of september, the Marta SL Magnesium a bit later (october).
